Huesca has a new Michelin Star after the gala held on November 25 in which 25 new stars were awarded to restaurants. The curious thing is that that star has gone to Casa Rubén, the restaurant in a small medieval town with only 11 inhabitants: Hospital de Tella.
The Tella Hospital is a picturesque town in the Aragonese Pyrenees, within the Sobrarbe region and belonging to the municipality of Tella-Sin. At about 750 meters above sea level, it is nestled in the Cinca Valley, next to three valleys of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park: The Escuaín Gorges, the Bielsa and Pineta Valley and the Añisclo Canyon. An impressive natural environment. That is why it is a perfect town for lovers of relaxation, hiking and nature photography. And now also for food lovers.
In the heart of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park and with impressive panoramic views of the Cinca and Yaga rivers. This is how you will eat when you visit. Although it is not among the cheapest Michelin Star restaurants in Spain, Casa Rubén is worth a visit. Located next to the Ordesa y Tella valley, and led by chef Rubén Coronas and Cristina Romero in the room, this restaurant with only four tables mixes modernity with tradition. A personal and intimate kitchen that travels through the Aragonese culinary landscape and does so in a room under a beautiful stone vault from 1593, in one of the old stables of the house.

From there you will have one of the best panoramic views of the Monte Perdido massif and Valle del Cinca. Additionally, in Tella you can visit the Dolmen and the bear cave in another of its simplest routes, ideal for doing with children.

Hospital de Tella is located very close to Aínsa, considered the most beautiful town in Spain according to National Geographic, so when you visit the gastronomy of Casa Rubén, do not miss the opportunity to see another absolutely magical medieval town.
