Last year I needed comfortable, basic tailored pants that would get me out of the odd work situation. Since I work from home, I didn't want to spend a fortune, just get something practical and cheap. At Zara I found that type of tailored pants that they launch from time to time, in a cheaper line, which by the way, even comes with a belt. Since most of my clothes tend to be black or similar, I chose the light gray one. After that work commitment, I didn't want to take it off.

The pants are so comfortable, so versatile and I feel like they even flatter me, that I found dozens of excuses to wear them: even on my father-in-law's 70th birthday, with high heels and a more elaborate top. The fact is that by taking a look at Zara's new products, I have found my pants again in a lot of trendy shades.
Its loose silhouette at the hips thanks to the pleats at the waist and narrow at the bottom is unmistakable and the price (27.95 euros) suits me. It also comes with a belt so there is no doubt: it is the same pants that I bought last year. This fall I plan to go for at least two shades: chocolate brown and navy blue with pinstripes. Two basics that I'm going to get a lot of use out of.

Noon
To take advantage of these two new additions, it is best to opt for a beige trench coat, preferably with an original detail. This one from Noon, for example, is classic but has a collar in a different tone for contrast and a printed interior that – if we feel like it – we can show by folding the sleeves. It combines perfectly with my pants in all its versions and colors. We found it in El Corte Inglés for 99 euros.
