Brown eyes have a unique versatility that allows you to experiment with a wide range of colors and makeup styles. For this reason, we wanted to know some tips from professionals to be able to elevate our views to top levels.
We have spoken with Rosa Roselló, training director at Druni, who has given us some advice and a step by step to opt for natural makeup and enhance brown eyes.
According to Rosa, “the first thing we will do is apply a shadow in a beige or champagne tone all over the mobile eyelid. This will provide a uniform and luminous base. You have to use a light brown tone in the eye socket to add depth.” A key issue that Rosa emphasizes is that we make sure to blend well to avoid harsh lines.
Next, “apply a dark brown or bronze to the outer corner of the eye and blend towards the center of the eyelid. This will help define and lengthen the look.” And then we would only have to line the upper lash line with a brown or black eyeliner. If we are looking for a softer touch, we slightly smudge the eyeliner.
Finally, she recommends “finish with a generous coat of mascara to open up the look and add a touch of drama.”
Without a doubt, this makeup is perfect for everyday use and can easily be transformed into evening makeup by adding a little shimmer to the center of the eyelid.
On the other hand, our consulted expert also comments that “warm tones such as gold, copper and terracotta are ideal for brown eyes, as they complement and highlight their natural warmth. Soft smoky is a classic and sophisticated option that never goes out of style, in addition to being perfect for special occasions, as it provides an intense and mysterious look.”
