Eyebrows have become the main protagonists of any beauty and makeup routine. Now that they have more presence and are worn thick and natural, we pay more attention to their shape, density and finish. Makeup is a great tool for shaping and filling. But there is much more we can do.

The pharmacist Helena Rodero, an expert in hair and skin, has shared on her social networks her beauty ritual to get thicker eyebrows. “A well-groomed eyebrow can completely change your face. Over the years, eyebrows lose color and density, but you don't have to give up a thicker, prettier eyebrow,” he begins.

The expert shows a before and after photo, and the difference is super clear. But if there is something that has changed the way her eyebrows look, it is that she now dyes them. “When I dye the roots of my hair, I use the same dye and carefully apply it to the eyebrow,” says Rodero.

“The logic is that if it is the dye you use on the scalp you should not have a problem, but each case is different. Any dye must be tested on the skin first, according to the instructions for use,” recommends the pharmacist.

Here Helena explains that to apply the dye, she does it using a cotton swab and lets it sit for ten minutes. Then, “I remove it very well with discs impregnated with cleansing oil, several passes and then wash with facial cleanser.”

The expert goes on to explain that in addition to dyeing her eyebrows, she also follows some makeup tricks. The first step that Helena takes is to comb her eyebrows with a tweezer following their natural shape. Next, apply a shadow with a brush, “usually one that matches your hair color,” she advises. And choosing the right tone is very important, because if you darken your eyebrows too much, especially if they are light or brown, you will notice a very abrupt and unflattering result.

To finish, he likes to apply an eyebrow fixer, but not comb them upward like laminated eyebrows, since in his opinion they don't wear much. And if necessary, fill in with a fine-point pencil in those points where it is needed.

To gain density

As for treatment to gain density in the eyebrows, the professional comments that she is using a serum, specifically the Uklash Eyebrow Serum. In recent years, these products have become essential to enhance hair growth and thicken hair.

“I don't like these products for eyelashes and it seems to me that they don't compensate for the risks. But for eyebrows, they are wonderful. In a month I have managed to recover a lot of the density of my eyebrow,” Helena admits.
