Trends are constantly changing but pants are usually quite subtle in the changes. Until this season, we went from small twists in silhouettes or prints to much more daring designs: unexpected cuts, metallic details and shapes that do not go unnoticed.
For example, bloomers – which have been with us for two summers – return this year, evolving into bloomers, those pants that were underwear in the Victorian era and are now the protagonist of our freshest looks. There are also those that are decorated with maximalist studs from waist to ankle or sports shorts that become a priority beyond the gym. We have selected five that we can now buy in our favorite stores like Zara, Mango and more.
The XL Bermuda shorts
@erealouro
We start with the most discreet of all to build body: the Bermuda shorts. A pair of pants that returns in a looser 2026 style, with darts and a subtle A-line that sits at calf height. These ones worn by stylist Erea Louro in camel color are part of her ''summer uniform'' and are in Zara for 27.95 euros.
The track shorts

@courtneecrews
We already commented a few days ago that the track shorts They have returned to gain prominence beyond the gym. We can take them to the beach as Courtnee Crews suggests or to go sightseeing (in this case with a t-shirt oversize and father slippers). We found these at Adidas for 40 euros.

Jeans with studs

@dulceida
Studs gain prominence this season and we find them in all types of clothing and accessories: bags, vests, dresses and jeans like these ones from Mango that Dulceida is wearing for 59.99 euros. The straight silhouette with a high waist is the classic counterpoint that these super cool jeans need, perfect for a festival look.
capri pants

@bartabacmode
Capri pants are already a reality about to go viral this summer. We find them printed – with gingham checks especially – or in a minimalist key in black like those by Silvia García that we found in Sfera for 21.99 euros.

The bloomers style bloomers

@holliemercedes
The most controversial trend this summer is bloomers in pololo style. A type of pants that can look very cool or end up looking like a costume. To be sure to get it right, the best thing is to go for discreet designs (without prints and dark colors), like this chocolate brown one that we found at Pull&Bear for 25.95 euros. If we combine them with basic t-shirts and minimalist sandals we avoid the risk of looking like an extra from Pirates of the Caribbean.
