Las Tres Piedras beach is located on the outskirts of Chipiona, less than 10 minutes by car following the A-491. This beautiful sandy area of golden dunes is surrounded by small fishing constructions, which remain attached to the water when the tide rises, leaving a very authentic and traditional fishing image.
At low tide, a huge strip of sand and fishing pens made into the rock are exposed, turning this Atlantic corner into a huge beach ideal for walking, sunbathing and enjoying the summer. It has a blue flag, moderate waves, very popular for surfing, and few people, because most tourists stay on the urban beaches of Chipiona.
Around the sandy area there are protected and marked trails to explore the dune area, the chameleon's natural habitat. During the day the views are beautiful, but at dusk they are surpassed: the sun falling over the Atlantic is an unbeatable Cadiz postcard.

Inés García at Calasanta Beach
Inés García is a big fan of Calasanta Beach, a very chic restaurant on the beach and an expert in seafood rice. It's an iconic stop, but it's not the cheapest place in Tres Piedras. Salitre Chipiona makes spectacular rice with seafood, it is on the beach and it is much cheaper.
What to do near Tres Piedras, Cádiz
With Chipiona just a stone's throw away, it would be a sin not to come spend the day and discover everything it has to offer, beyond beaches. The Chipiona lighthouse is the tallest in Spain and has the most spectacular views of Doñana from above. Furthermore, the Chipiona Castle hanging over the sea and the old town that surrounds it are impressive, living witnesses of the city's fishing and walled past.
