The perfect getaway exists. You just have to go to Ronda and visit its spectacular parador. And it is not that we say that it is the most beautiful town in Spain (because in the editorial staff we do not agree with this), it is that artificial intelligence has already chosen it as the most beautiful town in Spain in 2024. Ronda is a dream come true.
It is the most visited town in Malaga and the third in Andalusia and, objectively, one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. In fact, Rainer Maria Rilke settled there for two months and renamed it the “dream city.” Its impressive Puente Nuevo, which connects the old city with the new over a 100-meter-deep abyss, is its best-known hallmark, but Ronda has many magical enclaves.
The fact that it is located on a deep gorge, its Arab origins dating back to the 15th century and that it was declared Cultural Interest in 1966, are some of the reasons to make a getaway. Although there is one more: a building that makes you fall in love with its location and the beauty it exudes. This is El Parador de Ronda.

It is, without a doubt, the best viewpoint of the Guadalevín River thanks to the fact that it is located next to the Puente Nuevo. It was inaugurated in 1994 on the old city hall and food market buildings and still preserves the original façade of the Town Hall, along with its traditional clock and arcades.
From the terrace and the pool you can enjoy the views, and also from the rooms, which are impressive. All of this in harmony like a traditional decoration of soft colors that invite the most absolute disconnection.

In addition, it has a very good gastronomic offer with traditional Andalusian dishes in its restaurant, El Manzel de Ronda, with portions to share while enjoying the views. I, of course, have already chosen my next getaway this fall, although I may not be able to wait that long.
