24 kilometers from Ourense is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain, a medieval town declared a Historic-Artistic Site full of Romanesque churches, cobblestone streets, monasteries and bridges of incredible beauty. It is an incredible place, but it has found the formula to differentiate itself from other similar towns: outlets fashionable.
Allariz is known by the nickname “village outlet of Galicia”. The blame lies with its more than twenty discount stores located in the historic center of the town, between cobblestone streets and stone facades from the 6th century.
It is not a typical shopping center, but the shops have been integrated into the architecture to rehabilitate and maintain the medieval aesthetics.

The main shopping streets are da Cruz, Fonteiriña and Santo Estevo, where we can find outlets by Adolfo Domínguez, Roberto Verino, Angel Schlesser or Cuplé, among many others. Inditex also has a presence, with a outlet from Massimo Dutti and another from Tempe, focused on accessories from Zara, Bershka and Stradivarius. All stores are open from Tuesday to Sunday.

This getaway to the north combines shoppingtourism, history and culture. In addition to shopping, we can enjoy perfectly preserved gems such as the church of Santiago, a Galician Romanesque temple from the 12th century. They also have the monastery of Santa Clara, with the largest baroque cloister in Spain; or the incredible medieval bridge of the Arnoia River. Never has an express trip been so complete.
