Some things that should never change: the smell of sunscreen, naps with the blinds half down, and that package of Dinosaurus cookies dipped in milk when there's a snack craving (revisiting old childhood pleasures). Although it is also true that some changes are for the better. This last group includes the great idea that someone had to turn our 2000s snacks into ice cream. And not just any one…
An ice cream that reinterprets Artiach's famous dinosaur-shaped cookie and turns it into an ice cream sandwich has just arrived in the freezers of Spain. That is to say, two cookies that taste a lot like those original Dinosaurus (without seeking to be an exact copy) and in the middle a creamy ice cream that is not just cream but also has a point that is reminiscent of the cookie itself.
Although it doesn't stop there because one end of the sandwich is made up of a milk chocolate coating with crunchy pieces. The result is not that it tastes like Dinosaurus literally, but emotionally. Furthermore, there is the detail that ends up winning the game: the dinosaurs are still present although it would be even better if the ice cream was in the shape of a triceratops.
However, if you prefer a more technical description (to give it an adult name), we are talking about a cookie-flavored ice cream that is presented between two cookies (26% of the product). In addition, with a partial coating of cocoa with milk (19%) and cookie pieces (1.5%).
In numbers, we are talking about 337 kcal per 100 grams, with 17 grams of fat and 24 grams of sugars. But no one is eating this product for its macros, let's be honest. This is about something else.
It's about opening the freezer on any given Tuesday and, for a few seconds, everything looks a little more like when the only important thing was choosing what to watch on television. It proves that, sometimes, time travel is possible through flavors. And above all, it is about having an excuse to treat yourself.

It's as if someone, in some office, had decided that growing up is okay, but that doesn't mean it's necessary to give up those little nonsense that once made us happy.
Of course, if the heat brings things like this with it, and not just temperatures that melt thermometers, it may not be such a bad idea to arrive as soon as possible. We already know which one we are going to ask for this year at the beach bar. However, a box of four units costs around 5-6 euros in the supermarket. You can find it now in large stores such as Día, Consum or even on Amazon.
