Formentor is the northernmost peninsula of the island of Mallorca, where there are no towns or urban centers. Its landscape combines beaches, mountains, pine and oak forests. All of this on a 20-kilometer cliff that extends to the sea, forming beautiful coves of pebbles and crystal-clear waters where it remains summer well into winter.

The heart of this cape is the Formentor lighthouse, a 22-meter-high white tower that marks the nicknamed Mallorcan Finisterre. The entire way to it is a true delight, surrounded by viewpoints, beaches and wild coves where you can disconnect and enjoy the purest nature.

The views from the top of the Formentor mountains are amazing, with cliffs falling towards the sea and beaches as beautiful as Cala Murta or Formentor Beach, with white sand and pine trees surrounding it and protecting it from the wind. There is the famous Hotel Formentor, one of the few places to stay in this remote area of Mallorca.

Among the viewpoints that you will find in the area, the most beautiful are the Mirador de la Creueta and the Colomer, surrounded by paths that take you to the fortified towers of the 16th century, such as the Albercutx Watchtower. You can also do several hiking routes from here.
