La Mola is a region located east of Formentera, known for its intact natural beauty and its peaceful atmosphere, with panoramic views of the sea from any point. Here is the highest point of the Pitiusan island, Puig de la Mola, full of trails for active tourism, small towns with whitewashed houses and craft shops. El Pilar de la Mola is one of them, the most isolated urban center with its 18th century church and its summer market.

This area of Formentera does not have beaches, but it has a very special charm. It is noticeable in its cozy atmosphere, in places like the Moli Vell, which keeps the history and peasant past of the island alive or in the impressive La Mola lighthouse, located at the top of a stone wall with spectacular panoramic views.
