What to see on Famara beach, Lanzarote
Famara beach is one of the most famous in the entire archipelago. It is a virgin coast with six kilometers of sand facing the Atlantic Ocean. Here you will not find hammock services, beach bars or hotels breaking the immensity of the landscape, because here you come to connect with the volcanic nature of Lanzarote. Therefore, bathing should be done sensibly, paying attention to the marked areas and always close to the shore.
The beach is in the municipality of Teguise, surrounded by sand dunes and framed between the Famara cliff and the views of La Graciosa. The sea is full of surfers, campers and visitors, who come by car or on a walk from Caleta de Famara to enjoy this rabbit hole.
Caleta de Famara is the closest town to this beach, a small fishing village full of whitewashed houses, colorful boats and sandy streets, where time has stopped between the saltpeter and traditional charm. It has several surf schools, exquisite restaurants and a relaxing, calm and slow vibe, which follows the rhythm of yesteryear.

Where to eat cheap and delicious in Playa de Famara, Lanzarote
On the main street of the town there is a very well-known place, among tourists and neighbors. It's called El Chiringuito de Famara and it has unforgettable rice dishes and grilled fish for very little money.
