These two Spanish beaches are, according to expert travelers, among the best in Europe and an ideal getaway during Easter

Posted on 7 March 2026

Spring is coming and Easter is coming. For us, this is synonymous with the first dips of the year, going to the beach and sunbathing to get rid of the nuclear white on our skin, after months and months of rain. We are not going to skimp on destinations, especially when in Spain we have two of the best beaches in Europe. Word from traveling experts and ranking TripAdvisor Annual.

Playa del Muro, Mallorca

The Muro beach or Platja del Muro in Mallorca is ranked number six, with its six kilometers of coastline and its Caribbean appearance of white sand and turquoise water. It is located on the northeast coast of the Balearic island and has the Blue Flag distinction, confirming that in addition to being idyllic, it is safe and accessible.

This beach, the longest in Mallorca, is so large that they have divided it into four sectors, all of them limited by enormous sand dunes. The first and fourth are full of restaurants to enjoy a round day at the beach. The second is quieter, although if you are looking for privacy the best is the third, surrounded by pine trees and dunes in the heart of the S'Albufera Natural Park.

Maspalomas Beach, Gran Canaria

Most Beautiful Beach Spain Europe Holy Week Summer Trip Getaway

In position number 9 of the best beaches in Europe is the iconic Maspalomas, in the south of the island of Gran Canaria. Bordered by the Maspalomas Dunes Natural Reserve, this beach is a desert vision, eternal and immense to enjoy the sea, with many kilometers of sand, dunes and silence.

Very close to the beach is the tourist center of Maspalomas, which has restaurants, hotels and all the services for a drama-free vacation. Furthermore, to the west, in Punta de Maspalomas, there is an ideal area for practicing water sports and even nudism.

We must admit that TripAdvisor is not wrong, they are BEACHES.
