Drawn to the individual and unique, Maree Hynes Interiors have always stocked rare vintage or antique homewares. Most recently we have embraced earthenware and ceramics that have been handmade in a small village in the south of Morocco – an authentic range of Tamegroute earthenware crafted by family artisans working with manual pottery wheels and secret glaze recipes. With its raw and imperfect look, the end result appears as if it’s centuries old, exquisite in colour and pure beauty. No two pieces are the same!

Also in the range is hand-blown Moroccan glassware, carefully crafted using natural recycled glass, every piece unique in style and shape. The slight irregularities are part of the charm and proof of traditional craftsmanship.

By investing in unique homewares made by true craftsmen you can own a piece high in quality and truly authentic in design.

Mokum’s Artisan Collection is another collection to get excited about. The collection draws on the traditional Japanese concept of wabi-sabi, a philosophy whereby beauty is not only found, but celebrated in the imperfect, impermanent and incomplete.

A rustic mix of luxury upholstery, drapery and accessory textiles, the beautifully curated collection boasts a refined, earthen colour palette designed to encourage people to pull away from the digital screen and into the present moment through tactical experiences in the home. Design director Stephanie Moffitt comments, ‘With this collection we sought to contemporise craftsmanship and showcase the imprint of timeless textile techniques. We worked with specialist weaving structures, luxury yarns and artisanal printing and finishing process to create subtly complex textiles in a palette that feels both modern and nostalgic.’
